Hamburger Soup

HAMBURGER SOUP

Hearty, delicious, easy and fast. One pot dish that your family will love. Whether it is a cold winter day or a rainy spring/fall day this dish is amazing. I love how versatile this recipe is. During the summer and fall when fresh veggies are readily available I use what I can get from the garden or market. Although frozen, canned or fresh ingredients from the supermarket work just fine, it is totally up to you. This recipe allows you to mix and match all kinds of vegetables that your family enjoys. You can also make this dish more hearty by adding pasta if you desire.... Macaroni would be a good one.

Ingredients.

● 1lb of ground beef

● 1⁄2 onion diced

● 2 stalks of celery chopped

● 2 carrots chopped

● Handful of baby potatoes cut in quarters

● 1 can of corn, I usually love niblets or peaches and cream

● 1 can of tomato soup

● 1 pkg of onion soup mix

● 2 cloves of garlic chopped

● Worcester sauce.. Optional

● 1 tsp of olive oil

● Soup pot

A bag of frozen veggies is a great way to cut time out on this meal. I admit I have used them in a hot minute when hungry bellies can't wait.

Now let's put this dish together .....

Start with the oil and add your garlic and onion. Saute for a few minutes then add your ground beef. Brown your ground beef and then add in the pkg of onion soup mix. If you have decided to use some Worcester sauce add a few shakes in.... Remember I don't usually cook with measurements. Open the can of tomato soup and mix together. Next Pour in about 6 cups of water and bring to a boil. Then add in your veggies. Bring to a complete boil and turn the heat down to about medium. Continue cooking until potatoes are soft.
